Date difference & adjustment
Uses the timezone selected above. Differences measure elapsed time; adding a calendar day across DST may not equal 24 hours. Month/year adjustments clamp to the last valid day of the target month.
Units, timezones & formats
Unix time starts at 1970-01-01 00:00:00 UTC; earlier dates are negative. One second equals 1,000 milliseconds.
More than 10 integer digits is interpreted as milliseconds, otherwise seconds. Choose an explicit unit for historical or far-future dates. Precision is limited to milliseconds.
Accepts ISO 8601. Z or an explicit UTC offset takes precedence; otherwise the selected timezone applies. Ambiguous DST times require an explicit offset.
One value per line, up to 5,000 lines or 2 MB. Blank lines and error positions are preserved. Date-to-timestamp in auto mode outputs milliseconds.
